Welcome to the Little Kickers Pre-Travel Soccer Program!
The Little Kickers program is designed for players born in between 2016 and 2019. The program will run for eight weeks during the fall of 2023, seven weeks in the winter of 2024, and again for eight weeks in the spring of 2024 (you are not required to sign up for all three seasons). Teams will be formed based on age, and all teams will be co-ed.

Each week during the fall and spring, our Little Kickers will participate in a one-hour practice session led by a professional coach; practice sessions occur on weeknights (Tuesdays and Thursdays, based on player age). This session is designed to give players an introduction to the foundational soccer skills they'll need as they begin their youth soccer playing experience. Through interactive games and drills, players will learn dribbling, passing and shooting - while having a fantastic time playing soccer!
In addition to practices, participants will also play games on Sunday mornings, when all of the our Little Kickers will have the opportunity to play with each other. These games will be played 4v4 (no referees), and will also be overseen by trained AYSO United Bergen County staff members, as well as volunteers.
Both practices and games will be held at the Leonia Athletic Complex at Leonia High School - the home of AYSO United Bergen County.
The registration price includes your player's uniform.
Our goal is to give the youngest players the opportunity to have fun, learn the fundamentals of soccer, and begin a soccer journey which we hope will prepare them to join an AYSO United Bergen County soccer team (teams start at 9U, and continue through 19U). We hope your Little Kicker will join us!
The winter season consists of one 75-minute session per week, and incorporates both skill development activities as well as scrimmages, within the same session.
The registration price of $200 per season (fall and spring) includes your player's uniform. There is an additional $20 administrative fee per player, charged by the national American Youth Soccer Organization, which covers player insurance and other administrative expenses. This is only paid once per player per soccer year (meaning that if your player participates in one season and then registers for a second or third, the $20 fee won't be charged again in the same soccer year)
The cost of the winter season is $150.
