AYSO United Bergen County
2024/2025 Soccer Year Open Tryouts

AYSO United Bergen County invites all interested players to participate in our 2024/2025 soccer year open tryout process. Selected players will be placed on an AYSO United Bergen County soccer team starting in the fall, 2024 soccer season.

Players born between January 1, 2006 and December 31, 2016 are eligible to be considered for a spot on a team, and should participate in tryouts.

There are no residency or other restrictions - the only requirement is a love of the beautiful game, and the desire to succeed both on and off the soccer pitch!

Tryouts will take place on April 29, May 1 and May 6, 2024, at the following times:

6:30 PM - 7:30 PM: Players born in 2015 or 2016.
7:30 PM - 8:30 PM: Players born between 2011 and 2014.
8:30 PM - 9:30 PM: Players born between 2005 and 2009.

All tryouts take place at the Leonia Athletic Complex at Leonia High School - the home of AYSO United Bergen County.

Attendance at as many tryout days as possible is HIGHLY recommended. Attendance at at least one day of tryouts is mandatory in order to be considered for a spot on a 2024/2025 soccer year AYSO United Bergen County soccer team.

Additional Details

Players should wear comfortable attire.
Players should wear shin guards UNDER soccer socks.
Players should wear soccer cleats (preferably turf cleats) if possible.
Players should bring a soccer ball of a size appropriate to their age (U13 and younger = size 4, U14 and older = size 5)
Players should NOT be wearing jewelry of any kind
Players should bring water or sports drink with them to the field, and should have eaten a light dinner prior to arrival.
Players are encouraged to arrive at least ten minutes prior to their scheduled tryout time, in order to check in and warm up.
